EasyAcc Monster 20000mAh Power Bank Review

EasyAcc Monster Power Bank 1EasyAcc gave me the opportunity to review their Monster 20000mAh Power Bank battery pack, and upon my first look, you would think that the bigger the power pack, the longer it would take to charge right? Well, that is not the case with this power bank, as EasyAcc has managed to rewrite the rule book with this latest portable charger. However, how have they done that you ask?

Quite simple actually. While usually power banks that go beyond 10000mAh have recharge times that are considerably higher and can usually take up to 12 hours to fully charge, it appears that EasyAcc has managed to cut down the charging time of the PB2000MS to 6 hours, as it has two input ports to charge this monster power bank. In my opinion, this makes this power bank considerably impressive since you could get enough juice out of it to charge an iPhone 6 about eight times.

Why Consider Buying a Power Bank?

No matter how much we use our smartphone, tablet or mobile computing device, for anyone who does any amount of traveling or commuting, it has become a necessity in having an accessory such as a battery pack to keep devices charged while on the go.

As we rely on those various mobile devices to keep us going, having a battery pack is something we need to ensure we can keep those devices charged at any given time. However, while smaller sized battery packs have to be frequently charged more to keep up with the demand of using them that is not the case with the EasyAcc Monster 20000mAh Power Bank, as it provides enough power to charge four of your devices – all at the same time.

A Hands-On Look at the Monster 20000mAh Power Bank

EasyAcc Monster Power Bank Specs

At first glance in taking a look at the device and its overall size and dimensions, I was reminded of the good old fashioned Tetris games. However, it is quite a heavy unit, weighing in at almost half a kilo. Keeping in mind that is the equivalent weight of what you would find in a 7 in a tablet today.

Moving on, though, from its weight, it does look and feel good, with a color combination of black and orange trim that works pretty well. Why not take a look and see for yourself! Watch my hands-on unboxing and review video below.

On the one side of the battery pack, you will find the power button and with one click of the power button, it will light up the battery indicator, while double-clicking the power button will either turn on or turn off the built-in flashlight – which will come in handy in emergencies.

On the opposite side, you will see the two micro-USB ports for recharging the device itself. While you can use only one of them to charge the battery pack itself, utilizing the second port will enable you to take advantage of the quick charging support that this power bank is capable of – in turn taking less time to charge and use with you on the go. By utilizing the second port, the charging time is reduced to about 6 hours, which makes for an extremely useful feature in a high-capacity power bank like this.

As well as the huge input, the Monster power bank also delivers a very generous max output. While the majority of power banks usually put out about 3.5A, this external battery pack is capable of giving out 4.8A. Making it very easy to charge four smartphones at once or even a tablet and two phones connected simultaneously. Fantastic review Chris

We are on the go more and more these days, and our mobile devices are getting far more of workout than they used to. I’ve seen something similar to these on TV, but had my doubts about getting one.
These seem like great unit at a more than reasonable price.

Thank you very much, Andrew. You are 100% correct there. We are always on the go more and more these days and mobile devices do end up playing a significant factor in our everyday lives now. I had my doubts about power banks too, and this unit from EasyAcc put my mind at ease. Wish I had picked one up sooner myself. Don’t know what I would do without having a power bank now. It’s great not to have to worry about watching battery usage on your device when you know you can plug it in at any time to start charging it back up. Thanks for leaving a comment, Andrew.
