Aukey Quick Charge 3.0 Dual Port USB Car Charger Review

Aukey gave me the opportunity to review their Quick Charge 3.0 Dual Port USB Car Charger, and my first reaction was, “wow this little nifty gadget packs everything you need to keep your devices charged while on the go!” And, equipped with certified Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, it can significantly eliminate the amount of time it takes to charge your Quick Charge capable devices if you are constantly on the road or always on the go.

Why Consider Buying a USB Car Charger?

Aukey USB Car Charger Pic 2With the majority of devices that are currently available today having rechargeable batteries that use a USB port connection to charge the device, ensuring that you can keep your devices always charged and ready to go while on the road is something most of us like to make sure we can do.

Whether you are on the road a lot for work playing taxi, carpooling or even riding solo to enjoy spending time out on the road taking in the scenery and sights, investing in a car charger that can keep your devices always juiced up and ready to go is something we all need to make life simpler.

And, of course, if you want to ensure quick charging of your devices, if they support Quick Charge Technology that is, you ought to consider something that puts out more juice than your average run-of-the-mill charger. That is why you might want to consider getting the Aukey’s Quick Charge 3.0 car charger today.

So, let us take a look at Aukey’s car charger and see why it’s the perfect road companion for you!

A Hands-On Look at Aukey’s Quick Charge 3.0 USB Car Charger

Aukey’s Quick Charge 3.0 Dual Port USB Car Charger is a product built with pride and certainly qualifies on the portability front, as it is small enough to fit in your pocket. Even though the box is minimalist in size, it is sturdy in construction and is the type and style of the box this wall charger deserves.

Enough about the packaging, though, here is my hands-on unboxing with my initial review on the car charger below.

Not only, as you can see from the video and pictures that you can easily carry Aukey’s car charger in your pocket or even in the palm of your hand with how small it is in size, but it is also designed to accommodate and fit most, if not all vehicles.

However, just like other car chargers of this size, it can sometimes cause a little frustration to unplug the charger from your cigarette lighter, depending on how your centre console is set up. And while it does include one micro USB cable to support all your single-charging needs, you will still require a second cable to plug into the addition port. But don’t worry or fear, as the Aukey car charger can charge any device you need, regardless of who the manufacturer is (Apple, Android, Windows, etc.)

Wow great review!! Looks like I’ll be getting me one of these little guys. I’ve had some bad luck getting me car chargers, they either don’t charge my phone like it should or it just breaks on me within a couple of weeks. I’ll let you know how this one works out for me. Thank you for the share.

Great post. I have one of these and I agree, it would be nice if it had an LED to signify that it is plugged in correctly. I had my iPhone plugged in one time letting it charge while on my way to work. I was disappointed later once I found my phone was almost dead. Now, I make sure it is pushed all the way in when charging any device in my car.
    Thanks for sharing.

Hello, Lee. Yeah, it would have been good if it did have an LED on it to signify that it was plugged in correctly. Other than that, though, I don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner. Easily keeps my cell phone and tablet charged anytime I need to while I’m on the go and not have to worry about swapping a cable out since this car charger has 2 USB ports. Glad to share this honest review with everyone and thanks for leaving a comment.

    Hi Chris,

This is a great article on this very affordable car charger that supports USB cable. I don’t have a vehicle at this time I just but this is a very nice gift that I can get for some of my family members who do drive. Thanks for sharing this because I really was not that aware of car charger with USB ports.

    • July 9, 2016 at 12:52 pm

Hello, Dawn. It can definitely make a great gift for anyone of your family members that does drive. Newer vehicles now are starting to come with a built-in USB port to connect with, but with only one port, still makes it so that you can’t plug in more than one device at once (if you have them). Plus, when you (or someone you know) is in a vehicle and needs that extra bit of charge to keep your device going, this makes it very easy and straightforward to do, without having to unplug anything. Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment and glad to provide a great review on this nifty little gadget.

Hello, Subra. Using certified products is definitely essential in ensuring the proper battery health of your device, which I wanted to make others aware about and glad that I did in this review. Thanks for letting me know what you liked about my review, it is much appreciated.

Wow, these are what I’ve been looking for. Well fit in my pocket so that I can carry it around. And I like how it’s safe and smart enough to charge any kind of device. And the price is not too bad! Thanks for sharing!

    • July 9, 2016 at 12:58 pm

Hi, Jassi. I would agree with you there in the fact that it’s nice and small and easy to carry around if needed while supporting the right technology inside to be smart enough to charge any device. It’s overall affordable price also helps. I should have got one sooner. No need for extra cables and chargers in my vehicle any more thanks to this nifty little car charger. Glad to share and write this review to share with others. Thanks for also taking the time to comment and let me know your thoughts.

I bought my first car about a month and a half ago, and it was a struggle when my phone battery was dying while using it as a GPS for a trip. This will absolutely be a help. Thank you for posting this! I’ll definitely be clicking on your affiliate link over the weekend to buy this.

    • July 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm

Hello, Austin. I know the feeling there while using GPS on your phone. Always seems to kill the battery faster because it’s using more of it (screen on, etc.). Thank you for taking the time to leave me a comment and let me know that you will be purchasing it through my affiliate link. That is a very nice gesture indeed. Hope you might take the time to comment again once you get it and share your experience with it. Thanks, Chris
