Aukey Quick Charge 3.0 3 Port USB Wall Charger Review

Aukey gave me the opportunity to review their Quick Charge 3.0 3 Port USB Wall Charger, and my first reaction was, “why did I not get one of these wall chargers sooner!” With certified Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 it can significantly eliminate the amount of time it takes to charge your device, making it the ideal gadget for those of you that are constantly travelling and on the go.

Why Consider Buying a USB Wall Charger?

Since so many devices in today’s modern world have rechargeable batteries and majority of them use a USB port connection to gain a full charge, instead of using a standard AC connection, it can become a daunting task for anyone (including you) to find an available USB port to charge your device.

Whether you are on the go and away from your computer or at home fighting with other family members over available plugs to charge your device, investing in a portable multi-port USB wall charger is the way to go – giving you a convenient, reliable and affordable way to eliminate the hassle of recharging your batteries today.

What makes it even better for those of you that are always travelling and on the go? That is quite simple actually, as a multi-port USB wall charger can also eliminate the hassle of bringing multiple chargers to charge your different devices and eliminate that need to carry those extra chargers by conveniently combining them into one, easy to use, wall charger.

A Hands-On Look at Aukey’s Quick Charge 3.0 Wall Charger

Aukey’s Quick Charge 3.0 3 Port USB Wall Charger is a product that is built with pride and certainly qualifies on the portability front, as it is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. While the box is minimalist in size, it is sturdy in construction and is the type and style of the box this wall charger deserves.

Enough about the packaging, though, here is my hands-on unboxing with my initial review on the wall charger below.

When I took it out of the box, the first thing I noticed was its sleek and compact design that is also relatively lightweight in comparison to other charging hubs. However, don’t let its slim and compact design fool you, it still packs enough power to make sure that you are getting something that can charge multiple devices simultaneously (3 of them at a time to be exact).

What’s more is, it is easy to setup and use. Just plug it in and then plug your device into it (with either the supplied Micro USB cable or one of the cables you have for your existing devices), and convert any AC plug into a useful three port USB hub within a matter of seconds.

    Great review Chris.

It looks so small which is awesome because i’m always on the go. When I’m at home it’s like you say usually a fight between who can use the power outlet to charge their devices :).

That it can charge up to 4 times faster is awesome! Sometimes it feel like my devices takes for ever to charge up again. What is it specifically that does this? It “just” pumps more energy into the device?

Also the fact that it’s safe is great. Heard so many horror stories of phones blowing up etc when they have been plugged in.

Think I’m going to have to purchase one of these, thanks.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave me a comment, Marcus. You won’t be disappointed if you do decide to buy one, from my personal experience with this nifty little gadget, as I mentioned to Audra, I don’t know why I did not get one sooner. In response to your question, if the device in question is Quick Charge compatible, using the QC port on this hub will provide the optimal power output for that device using the built-in smart technology to charge your device quicker. Which in essence is pumping more energy into the device as you mentioned/asked. Hope that answers your question.

Hi, Chris. I enjoyed your post. I am a huge gadget fan and would love to try this little charger. It can get cumbersome carrying around everyone’s chargers when we go out. (4 of us…kids have phones too 😏). Those USB plugs are only a couple of bucks at Family Dollar or (often) your local gas station or convenience store….everyone sells them now. Lol We will be buying accessories forever!! Or at least as often as we have need for them. I like that it works right out of the box because I’m not good at putting things together!

Glad to hear that you are also a gadget fan as well Audra. It definitely can be cumbersome to carry multiple chargers around. With this hub, you just need the USB cables (other than the supplied one) of your other devices and your ready to go whenever you need to plug multiple devices in at once to keep them charged. Working right of the box with a minimalistic setup is also a bonus too. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.

This looks indeed great, it is definitely worth the purchase. I have many devices multiple smartphones, tablets, my wife has, my son. Too many and always empty at the same time battling to charge the drained batteries.

It definitely is a great and nifty gadget to have. Especially with having multiple devices to charge whenever is needed. I’m thoroughly impressed with how this little hub can provide the extra needed USB ports for charging while only needing to take up 1 power plug.
